Fraser Tanner joined Batch in 2000 from the world of foreign exchange, where he had rolled out an internet trading solution for business-to-business payments through the international banking systems. In developing Batch to improve the flow of information and integration between companies within the book and non-book trade, Fraser has been instrumental in winning industry awards including the Nibbie for the service.
Jonathan joined Batch as part-time Account Manager at the end of 2013 after a long career in publishing, having worked for The Firsty Group, Ian Allan, Lonely Planet and Transworld, among others.
As Head of Sales, Jonathan works closely with our client publishers and other suppliers to ensure they receive the best possible service from us.
Simon was Batch's first full-time employee when he joined in March 2000. He designed the original Batch Returns system, which was further developed by Maria Quinn and her team. Simon also worked with external developers to design and build Batch Integration Software (BIS).
Simon’s role includes liaising with suppliers on the use of the system. He also sits on a number of industry steering groups and co-ordinates with our external IT experts on new developments.
Roshni has taken over many of Eileen Kelly's responsibilities, leaving Eileen free to concentrate on our American customers. Roshni ensures that crucial financial transactions proceed smoothly and also manages much of the day-to-day running of Batch.
Martin joined Batch to act as booksellers' main support contact for BatchLine POS, a position he held for many years when the business was part of Bertrams. BatchLine, the UK's leading stock control and EPOS system, is installed in around 250 shops in the UK, Ireland and as far afield as the Cayman Islands.
Abu-Sufian joined Batch at the end of 2017 and works closely with Simon Parker to develop technical solutions to business problems. He also deals with customer and company technical queries.
Paul assists Roshni Sedani and other colleagues with a range of administrative tasks and provides back-up to booksellers around the world. If you have an issue with Payments or Returns, Paul is the man with the answers.
Eileen Kelly has long been the engine behind Batch and does everything she can to make customers happy. She gives her team the training needed to provide excellent customer service. Eileen is now responsible for managing Batch usage in the United States.
Any bookseller using Batch who has not received at least a couple of phone calls from Linda Bowles, please raise a hand! She ensures that all our customers get the best treatment and guides booksellers new to the system through their first steps online.
Janet's background is in non-fiction, trade publishing. She is responsible for marketing, looks after our Twitter account and is the first point of contact for booksellers enquiring about Batch and BatchLine.
As part of the sales team she attends BA events and the London and Frankfurt Book Fairs, where she introduces our services to booksellers. When not working for Batch, she writes contemporary fiction as Jan Ellis.
